►What is New Zealand Apartments?

It is a collection of similar style 1, 2 & 3 bedroom accommodation properties throughout New Zealand, brought together as a group, to offer you a consistant self catering apartment option for your New Zealand holiday. It provides a central reservations service to all the member properties through an online booking system.

►Who is New Zealand Apartments?

The New Zealand Apartments brand is owned by Anton & Jules Wilke and run by the New Zealand Apartments team based in Christchurch. It was set up 6 years ago by Anton who has worked in tourism for 20 years. He saw an emerging accommodation sector that was not being marketed to the public - beautiful new apartment properties were being built everywhere. So he personally inspected and contracted properties that met a criteria & launched the group in 2003 with 24 properties. This has now grown to 50 properties nationwide.
Anton deals with product, marketing, travel & wholesale agents and Jules works on the website, marketing & brochure production. Nikki and Maree are always busy in reservations and have all the information to help you make your bookings while Josée handles all the accounting, including processing your payments. New Zealand Apartments also employs UK based Ali Hampton to service wholesale trade clients throughout the UK.

We have a reservations team ready to assist you with all your enquiries and requests. Our online reservations system is available for you to make your bookings through, either 'on request' or for 'instant confirmation' when available. Or you can phone us if you just want to talk to someone! We offer special deals & packages, so please enquire.
If you have a problem we can help. If you are not happy with something then we can assist & help sort it out for you. We regularly inspect all the properties & deal on a day to day basis with the property managers.

►Where are these apartments?

All over the country! In all the best locations you would want to visit and stay in. This includes cities, beach resorts, tourist hot spots & ski resorts.

►Who stays in them?

Anyone wanting quality self contained accommodation of a 4.5 - 5 star level. We see a lot of families, two couples travelling together often get a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment & small groups. Generally people who want the option of lots of space & privacy & the ability to prepare & cook a meal, entertain or do the laundry if they wish.

►How long do people stay?

Short stay or long stay, what ever you require. So for a 1 night stop over or a 1 week plus, stay-put somewhere, these apartments are able to be used as you wish. If you require a long stay option, say on transfer or relocating, get in touch with us & we can give you a long stay quote when able.

►Are they like apartments in Australia?

Yes & no!
These apartments are not typically high rise as you will see in Australia. They are generally smaller properties of say between 10 -30 apartments in a development. There are no old apartments in NZ as these properties were all developed during the recent property boom, so it is a relatively new concept for New Zealand.
Yes they are all self contained & offer all the same benefits of full kitchen & laundry facilities, separate bedrooms etc.
